 • True Contour Rails are contoured to the 1/16 inch for tailoring that is "true-to-window". Louvers as well as rails are milled using computer controlled machining for an accurate and repeatable fit. • Full Functionality Each and every louver, including fractional top louvers, fully rotates (same as rectangular panels) and is controlled either by a tilt rod or in the case of louvers above the tilt rod, by use of a linkage system (see photo below). • Real Joinery
The Full-View Arched Shutters design preserves critical joinery details (standard to all shutter panels from O'Hair) for extraordinary strength. Contour rails are joined to stiles using mortise & tenon, wet-to-wet application of glue, and "draw-tight" assembly screws. Contour louvers pivot on monolithic tenons (formed from the louver profile itself). • Options Full-View Arched Shutters shutter panels are available in all O'Hair surface types, louver spacings, and tilt systems. |
